Mangelsen - Images of Nature Gallery

Mangelsen's Limited Edition titled Beach Patrol

Unruffled by each other’s presence, four bald eagles peaceably occupy an abandoned driftwood snag along the shores of Alaska’s Kachemak Bay. Bald eagles are unique to North America and although now inhabit much of the continent, nearly half of the population of 70,000 live in Alaska. In 1967 bald eagles were officially declared an endangered species in all areas of the United States south of the 40th parallel. It wasn't until June 28, 2007 that the Interior Department took the American bald eagle, our national symbol, off the endangered species list. Shop Eagles

Mangelsen shares a Saving the Wild update...

Saving the Wild Update...

I would like to thank my collectors who have acquired a rare photograph from my Saving the Wild Collection. You have directly contributed to last week's arrest of "allegedly" one of the three major rhino poaching kingpins in South Africa. Read the press release on Saving the Wild with many thanks to all the unsung heroes.
Saving the Wild is the only environmental organization based in South Africa whose mandate is to pursue high level targets and expose the corruption driving our precious rhinos into extinction—and yet it is the game changer! Together, we can all keep ‘Saving the Wild‘. Thank you.
